Peacehaven has a reputation for ugliness and certainly it is an indifferent sprawl on top of a very windy cliff. It's not the warmest place, especially in winter, however, as this scene shows there are splendid views on the cliff, a nice monument marking the Greenwich meridian and the odd interesting house design.
