This Plaque is in Image nature reserve. The citation reads “This plaque was awarded to Essex Naturalists Trust for creating five nature reserves in this district was unveiled on 17th April 1970 By H.M Lieutenant of Essex Sir John Ruggles-Brize. It was at this spot that the local conservation workers first met in June 1966".
