Introduction
The photograph on this page of Country View by Marion Phillips as part of the Geograph project.
The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Grass and white clover and a few thistles. Left unchecked the latter will set thousands of seeds to float off and colonise the field. The cattle did not want to stay to be photographed and went rushing off. On the ridge beyond you can see a telecommunications mast.
