This normally busy road is between Chatham Dockyard and central Chatham. It has been closed today Saturday 27th June 2009 for the first ever Armed Forces Day. The Historic Dockyard in Chatham is hosting the main event for this day. It is starting with a Tri-service Celebration Parade. Which starts from Fort Amherst, marches through Chatham centre and then along Dock Road before entering the Historic Dockyard. Medway Council has given lots of viewers of the parade flags to wave.
