According to the plaque on a wall at the far end "Threatened with destruction 1970. The Georgian Terrace nos 22 to 48 Bromham Road built 1832. Saved by the action of The Bedford Society 1972. Restored by Kingsbury Securities (Bedford) Ltd 1972-73. The new wing along Hassett Street erected 1974-75" See also Image]
