See Image The guide books give this church just a passing reference. This is unfortunate because the detail begs closer examination - more so because Presbyterian churches did not usually go in for such frivolities. This is a series of photos recording some of the external embellishment (excluding windows) which can be photographed from ground level. Starting on the Derryvolgie Avenue façade these heads are on a window above the door, to the left (all references to “left” and “right” are when looking at the church from the outside).
