A small, seasonal, shallow pond on Old Prison Fields, which will be used to attract wading birds in Autumn and Winter. A hide will be built where the photographer stands, by Dorset Wildlife Trust. The poor waterlogged soil has been scraped away to produce this shallow pond, which is dry after the drought in Spring and early summer 2009.
