Founded in 1910, the Club was originally situated on the boundary between Hove and Portslade. However, in 1991, the construction of the 'Brighton by-pass’ meant the Club had to relocate. It is now in the midst of the South Downs, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and has been encompassed in the new South Downs National Park http://www.westhovegolfclub.info/
