The A1073 is a poor road carrying a lot of heavy traffic notably fresh food produce to and from the Spalding and Boston area. The new road alignment avoids Cowbit and will give particular relief to Eye Green and its speed cameras. A certain amount of hypocrisy from the Highways authority by erecting these signs right on a cross roads on a road with a poor safetey record.
