From this point on the A888, a minor road leads through the village of Bogach (perhaps = 'curved field': bogha = curve/bow, and achadh = field) to Bruairnis (probably = 'banks of the headland': bruach = bank, and nis = ness/headland) on Bagh a Tuath (= North Bay).
