One of 4 English Heritage-listed stenchpipes in Wolverhampton (though one seems to have disappeared); this one is on Codsall Road. Apparently mid-C19; note the splayed top, with studs, and the fluted base, also with studs. There is a maker's plate, with the name Ham Baker & Co/Limited/Engineers/Westminster. http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=435694&mode=adv
