In the days of the Rothschilds living in Tring Mansion this was the site of The Bothy. It then became an industrial site, used by Williaam Cox (yes the spelling is correct) who made specialist plastic roofing. They were followed in the 1990's by this small Tesco Supermarket. (However the supermarket is huge compared with the tiny Tesco self-service shop which was in Tring High Street in the 1960's.)
