Grosmont Wood Farm is situated on the road from Pandy to Cross Ash. The road follows high ground and offers wonderful views, here looking north into Herefordshire and England. On this day the air was very clear giving a good view of the Black Mountains to the left and the hills of northern Herefordshire in the centre and to the right of this image. According to a website, Pink Floyd in their Syd Barrett days played in a barn on this farm on 25 May 1967, the event was the Gwent Constabulary Spring Holiday Barn Dance.
