The datestone on the building at 212-214 Kirkgate shows 1905, but Charles Matthew Eastwood bought the ironmongers from Lampen and Co. in 1953. Eastwoods closed in 1993 due to retirement. LCI, a sales and marketing company, took over the building, (the LCI logo can be seen on the windows), but last year they were acquired by Diamond Resorts International, a global leader in the timeshare industry.
