This sign is at the station in an enthusiast's garden. The Forncett branch (and trains to Ipswich) is no longer possible due to the line closing. However Dereham can be reached by walking to the nearby Abbey station. King's Lynn is inaccessible due to Dereham to King's Lynn line closing, plus the M&GN line from Melton Constable to King's Lynn closing together with the Wells to King's Lynn line closing. Fakenham may be reached in years to come with the restoration of the Mid Norfolk railway planned.
