Looking SE from the bridge on Primrose Lane. The original path of Primrose Lane crossed just in front of the red car, it is now two cul-de-sacs, Nether End and Rookery Close. The northern edge of the village was cut off by the new motorway, built in the 1960s, which runs diagonally through this square.
