The northern end of the retailing area of the town. The red brick building, housing three shops with flats above, bears the date 1891. Presumably the grey rendered building closer to the town is older. The family run, mainly clothing, business, Brays, occupies most of the ground floor and some of the first floor space and has done since 1895.
