Telfair Street (once known as Telfair's Entry) ran from here (in Ann Street) via a kink to Victoria Square. Most of it disappeared with the Victoria Square redevelopment Image leaving this bit behind. Once home to Ferguson’s sausage factory and the side entrance to the “Empire” – the latter was before my time though.
