The A493 running through Llwyngwril, approaching the right hand kink over the Gwril bridge. There's very little room for pedestrians at this point, with pavement on one side only, or not at all. An old style road sign in the hedge of the house straight ahead points right to Towyn (now called Tywyn). The grade II listed Garthangharad pub on the left.
