This playing field adjoins the former goods yard, now The Old Railway Yard Industrial Estate > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1316971 by Cawston railway station (converted) > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1316999. The Oakes Family Field is a community resource owned and managed by Cawston Parish Council for all the families living in the Cawston parish. There are various 'play landscapes' for the use of toddlers, primary age children and teenagers as well as a multi purpose games area and bmxl skateboard area.
