Panel 1 : With simple bold colours and old writing, I think that this is one of the oldest panels - dating perhaps from C14th - but I would appreciate comments to confirm this or correct me. I think that this panel may represent St Peter welcoming St Andrew to Heaven. My reasoning is that the figure on the left (wearing blue) has an enormous set of keys - St Peter's emblem; the figure on the right (purple top) meanwhile looks to be hanging on to an X-shaped cross - the Saltire of St Andrew.
