This box controls the split of the Lowestoft line from the Great Yarmouth (via Bernley Arms). One there was a connecting line to connect the Lowestoft line to the Great Yarmouth line (for a Lowestoft to Yarmouth service) but this closed after the Lowestoft to Yarmouth Beach line opened (this line however closed in 1970).
