The 1:50,000 map suggests that there are three standing stones here. If I had had the 1:25,000 map handy, I would have been looking for the remains of a stone circle. Although at one time thought to be fallen rocking stones, they are now thought to be the remnants of a stone circle, though evidence is conflicting.
