A street of mansion blocks, seen here from its junction with Canonbury Villas. Less than a fortnight earlier, a man had been subjected to an unprovoked attack on this street by a person wielding a 9-inch kitchen knife in broad daylight in front of two young children; fortunately his injuries were not fatal but police are appealing for witnesses.
