This TE, which resembles a scout/guide hut, is situated on the road between Everdon and Fawsley, 1½ miles North of Preston Capes, its postcode being NN11 3BS. It replaced the former TE in Old Forge Lane, Preston Capes in the early 1970s, and has (01327) 361xxx numbers, the (01327) referring to the Daventry group of ten TEs. This TE has the code EMPREST and provides telephone and broadband services to 328 residential and 47 non-residential premises in Preston Capes, plus Everdon, Farthingstone and Fawsley nearby. The fencing could do with some wood preservative.
