A ramshackle collection of wooden buildings sit in the corner off this field at New Hayes Farm. The track adjacent to this field had the strange name of Flesh Hovel Lane. It is believed that this name relates to a building that used to be here used by the Quorn Hunt, which was stabled at Quorn Hall, for the slaughtering and hanging of animals until required to feed the hounds.
