The 8 o'clock dance on Flora Day 2009. Flora Day is an ancient rite of spring which occurs on 8th May every year (or the nearest Saturday if the 8th falls on Sunday or Monday market day). Various dances take place throughout the day, passing through the town and this is the first dance of the day.
