Built between 1582-1593 with a southern extension added in 1728. For many years a country seat and is primarily known as the place where Lloyd George's cabinet agreed the terms to the armistice in 1918. Since the 1950s it has been a retirement home. Viewed from the footpath that links New Way Lane with Bedlam Street.
