A spring view of a country road with Cow Parsley in the verges and Rapeseed in the fields beyond. Cottages can be glimpsed to the left. These are all that remains of the navigation station located here until 2000. One of them retains, or at least still displays, the name 'Decca', after the Decca Navigation System (DNS) that was based here. The aerials, still shown on some maps and internet aerial images, were removed on its closure. I am grateful to Peter Facey who provided me with information on the system and this link http://www.jproc.ca/hyperbolic/decca.html after a previous submission.
