This is a composite panorama created from 2 pictures. The view looks north west along New Road Side, which starts at the junction with Hawksworth Road (on the right). The tarmac at the very bottom of the picture is Abbey Road, which merges seamlessly into New Road Side - both are part of the A65 which runs from Leeds to the Lake District.
