Zuider Zee

This intriguingly-named small lake was well worth a visit. Beautiful mature trees and an abundance of bird-life were noted. The Zuiderzee was a shallow inlet of the North Sea in the Netherlands; quite why this site should share the name is a mystery (to me at least).
