The buildings in the background and the rolls of straw are on the trackbed of the former Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway. Although the section of the line finally closed in 1965 in this area the route has largely been obliterated and returned to farming some evidence still remains. The fencing and the hedge to the left mark the boundaries and the gateway would once have been an occupation crossing. Also note the telegraph poles cut down after the line's closure and still complete with insulators!
