Always a bottle neck in the town and the point where many visiting HGV's come to grief, this is the junction where four of the towns narrow roads converge. The bollards are on the line of Stag Lane that, not so long ago. also joined here. A one way system has been introduced with some success on this section of High Street on the right, which, surprisingly perhaps is not the town's 'High Street' but a residential one, to ease the situation.
