Following severe flooding in June 2007, the Environment Agency carried out, in 2008, some superb repairs and improvements to the River Don in the Oughtibridge area - and in other areas in the Don Valley. This picture shows one of the repairs to the River bank using stones bulldozed from the river near to the bridge at Oughtibridge ... re-cycling at its best!
