Ye Olde Blue Pig Image on Audenshaw Road and the mill at Spring Bank were cut off from the North of Audenshaw when the M60 motorway severed Lumb Lane. Audenshaw Road, the B6390, was diverted to cross the motorway on a high bridge from the end of which this photograph was taken.
