The West Parish Church was built in a classical style using ashlar blocks in 1840. The interior was refitted in 1895. Since then, several modern stained glass windows have been installed, including a memorial window in the south wall dedicated to Reverend George Henry Grant, who was minister there from 1936 to 1949. The columns on the frontage are in Ionic style. An unusual feature visible on top of the square tower is an octagonal belfry with an ogee roof.
