The 'Northern Scot' is Elgin's weekly newspaper, published every Friday. Until a few years ago its premises, including printing presses, were in a warren-like collection of buildings in a close off the High Street, but the actual printing is no longer done in Elgin, and the editorial and advertising offices moved into smaller premises.
