Seen from its junction with Arthur Street. Houses here have had new walls and railings built in the early stages of a planned large-scale regeneration of the Newington and St Andrews area of the city over the next 15 years. Around 500 properties are being externally renovated on this street and on the nearby Melrose Street, St George’s Road and Plane Street.
