The Headstone contains the following wording - "Sacred to the memory of Rev Samuel King, 60 years Minister of the Gospel. He lived happy in himself; beloved by his family; valued by his friends; venerated by his flock on account of his profound knowledge of Divine truth; unfeigned love of the Holy Scriptures; deep and unaffected humility; ardent delight in holy duties; ministerial zeal and fidelity; unaffected and exalted piety and unwearied diligence in doing good to the souls and bodies of men. He died in the faith and hope of the Gospel which he preached. His mortal remains repose here but his immortal Spirit has gone from its labour to its reward. Reader: Follow him as he followed Christ. Psalm xxxvii verse 37 and Revelation xiv verse 13." See Image
