Frostlane farmhouse and front garden, with barn and other outbuilding to the left. From the 1930s onwards this was predominantly a dairy and poultry farm, with some pigs. It was managed by the Mr. and Misses Martins, until the 1970s. There was no running water or electricity. The water supply was a stream which ran through the cellar, often flooding it in winter; a pump provided water next to the yard. This stream then fed the yard duck pond.
