Presumably this willow once grew on the bank of the Wisbech canal, now infilled. The track seen at left connects Collett's Bridge Lane with an access road/public footpath, leading southeasterly past properties along the infilled Wisbech canal and reconnecting with Collett's bridge. Followed in the other direction, the footpath runs along a field's edge, skirting the infilled canal and a short distance further to the northwest, traversing it. The path emerges at Chapel Lane in Elm, further to the northwest.
