View from the junction of Church Lane with the A1122 towards the former airfield at Bexwell. This was the entrance to the Technical site. The airfield was important during war time. Located north of St Mary's church some of it still remains today. A wooden memorial plaque to two VC cross holders (Flt Lt Aaron and Sq Ldr Bazalgette) stands on the green adjoining the church.
