St Patrick’s (CoI) church is the result of a rebuilding in 1820. The tower was added in 1846 with the vestry following in 1869. The round tower (left) is thought to be 10th century and has survived well despite an attempt, in 1805, to demolish and use the stone in rebuilding the glebe house. They occupy an imposing position on a small hill.
