beside Thrapston Road (A510) northeast of Finedon. It was built on behalf of the Duke of Wellington to celebrate the battle of Waterloo. While a guest in the local stately home he mentioned that the scenery here reminded him of the Waterloo landscape. Now part of a farm. This Grade II building is listed twice because part is in Burton Latimer civil parish http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/search/details.aspx?pid=1&id=230990 and part is in Woodford CP http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/search/details.aspx?pid=1&id=423177 (both links give details of the history).
