This is the "Northern Centre for Cancer Care and Renal Services Centre" at the Freeman Hospital, part of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Sir Bobby Robson has a very strong link to this centre in that "The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation" has funded many important facilities here. Sir Bobbys Foundation aimed to raise £500,000, within two weeks it had raised £260,000. In less than a year it had raised over £1 million. The Foundation is still raising money.
