Located in Memorial Road facing Hampden Common, these two war memorials have the following wording inscribed: Left: This road was made by the people of Gt Hampden as a memorial to those belonging to the village who were killed in the War of 1914-18. Their names are in the Church. Right: This playing field was prepared by the people of Hampden as a memorial to those belonging to the Parish who were killed in the War 1939-1945. Their names are in the Church. Its postcode is HP16 9RF.
