Nether Court was built in 1883 by Henry Tubbs a wealthy Victorian businessman. The grand internal sweeping staircase is all wood and the whole house has decorative Beavers favoured by Henry Tubbs. He died in 1917, and in 1929 the house and extensive grounds were turned into the Finchley Golf Club, which is still thriving today.
