This is the side entrance into Crowsheath Wood from a footpath. The main gate is on Image The wood is a nature reserve owned by Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/crowsheath_wood_nature_reserve/ it consists of 17 acres of coppiced ancient woodland. The Wickford Wildlife Society http://www.wickfordwildlife.co.uk/ carry out much of the maintenance.
