Hempsted from the River Severn

The River Severn is to the photographer's back. Looking up the rise past some long horned cattle, Hempsted church is just behind the tall trees on the skyline. Hempsted on the outskirts of Gloucester is wedged between the river to the west and the Gloucester and Sharpness canal to the east.
