According to a notice on a nearby lamp post, it is intended to demolish this large, impressive house and then to build three houses on the site. It appears that outline planning permission was granted on 12 April 2008, subject to various conditions, including the work to be started within two years. However, nothing appeared to have happened by early April 2009. Has the proposal fallen foul of the credit crunch?
